Physical or Financial Hardship Policy

Students are able to withdrawal from the school and/or course of study if they have a physical or financial Hardship. These hardships include but are not limited to:

(1) serious injury or illness;
(2) chronic illness;
(3) a medical issue of a family member in which the Student has to become a part-time or full-time caretaker of that family member;
(4) a mental health condition;
(5) a sudden or consistent lack of transportation Issue; and
(6) a significant cost of living increase.

Past Due Debt Policy

Students who have had a transcript withheld due to a bad debt may apply for a hold waiver with administration.
This hold may take place if the student owes more than 2/3 of the course tuition and will be subject to a hold of 5 years from enrollment. AHCI holds the right to assign the debt to a third party collection agency if the student owes 2/3 of course tuition or more
If student decides to return and can work out a payment plan for debt, they may due so as they progress towards completion. Final transcripts will be held until final payments are completed
